DataBolt ("we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-powered web scraping and data extraction service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our platform at scraper-saas-flax.vercel.app.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: Your email address and a hashed password when you register. We never store your password in plain text.
  • Usage data: URLs you submit for scraping, prompts you provide, and the extracted results. This data is associated with your account to power Scan History.
  • Payment data: We do not store payment card details. All payment processing is handled by Lemon Squeezy (see Section 5).
  • Technical data: IP address (used for rate limiting only, not stored persistently), browser type, and request timestamps.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the DataBolt service.
  • To manage your credit balance and purchase history.
  • To prevent abuse through rate limiting.
  • To send transactional emails related to your account (e.g. payment receipts), if applicable.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Cookies

DataBolt uses a single session cookie to keep you authenticated. This cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function and does not track you across other websites. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

5. Third-Party Processors

We share data with the following third-party service providers solely to operate the platform:

  • Lemon Squeezy — payment processing. When you purchase credits, your payment details are handled directly by Lemon Squeezy under their Privacy Policy. We receive only a confirmation and your user ID.
  • Neon (PostgreSQL) — our database host. Your account data and scan history are stored on Neon's infrastructure, which is hosted on AWS in the EU (eu-central-1).
  • Vercel — our hosting provider. Your requests are routed through Vercel's edge network.
  • OpenAI — AI extraction and analysis. Scraped content you submit may be sent to OpenAI's API for processing. We do not use this data for model training.

6. Data Retention

Your account data and scan history are retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
